Mark Sykes, M.Photog. Cr, CPP began his career in 1994. He has a passion to learn about his clients to show off their unique, individualized personality. Nothing gets Mark more excited than to design up a session around a person’s love and passions! He loves to show off who people are, what makes them unique and tell their story.

Mark continues to pursue his love for professional photography by learning new technics to push his art further. He is one of the most sought after professional photographers in the BCS area. In 1999, he purchased his dream studio of 1.5 acres on the banks of Nantucket Lake in College Station. His exclusive Portrait Park boasts beautiful scenery and a large variety of backgrounds. After two decades of photographing weddings, newborns and children, Mark found a new passion in creating high school and college senior portraiture. He loves to push the boundaries and himself to create jaw-dropping images.

Mark is a devoted father to his daughter Emily, 27, and his fur babie, Maggie. His other passions are planes, woodworking and cooking BBQ. He has developed his own line of BBQ rubs and sauce and after tons of great reviews, is now working on bringing them to market.

Our Studio

Our portrait park features a tree swing, antique gas station, ‘59 pickup (Mater), rustic cabin, gazebo, lake and tons of natural surroundings.

Our unique location brings the convenience of creating your portraits all in one location with easy access to change your clothes, a chance to get out of the heat, grab a drink and snack.

We provide a handheld fan to help keep you cool and your makeup looking great during the warmer days of summer. Want your music going, great! We have portable bluetooth speakers we can bring out so you’re always surrounded by your beats. You’ll never have to worry about someone else being in the background! You’ll have the entire place all to yourself! Bring your car, truck, fishing pole, hunting gear, pet (no snakes… Mark doesn’t do snakes), sporting equipment, whatever you want to bring.
