Each session is meticulously culled to the very best image from each pose, so you never have to sort through hundreds of near duplicate proofs. Your collection includes one fully finished image from each pose, up to thirty six portraits. Every selected image is then individually edited and professionally retouched, refining skin, stray hairs, and clothing while removing major distractions from the background. The result is a polished collection of truly finished professional portraits.
Schedule Your Session
For the best experience, I recommend scheduling your graduation portrait session several weeks before graduation whenever possible. This gives us greater flexibility due to inclement weather, more options for your preferred dates and locations, and plenty of time to plan the details of your session.
That said, you absolutely do not need to book months in advance. I can typically accommodate sessions about two weeks out, and if graduation is only a few weeks away, please reach out anyway. I’ll do everything I can to find a time that works and create an exceptional experience for you.
As graduation approaches, popular campus locations become busier, so scheduling earlier gives us more flexibility; but late does not mean too late.

Professional lighting creates flattering skin tones, opens harsh shadows, adds dimension, and allows detail to remain in both the subject and the environment rather than letting bright skies disappear into white.
Composition is more than placing someone in a pretty location. Camera position, lens choice, distracting elements, separation, balance, and the surrounding environment are all considered before the shutter is pressed.
You should never be expected to know exactly what to do in front of the camera. Professional guidance with posture, hands, body angle, expression, and small details creates portraits that feel natural, confident, and polished.
Professional work continues after the session. Every selected portrait is individually edited and professionally retouched so skin remains natural, distractions are minimized, color is refined, and the finished image feels complete.

Your graduation session is also the perfect opportunity to create an updated family portrait. A complimentary family mini-session adds just 20 minutes to your Aggie portrait experience and gives you the chance to capture this season of life before careers, moves, and busy schedules make getting everyone together a little more difficult.
Keep it classic and timeless, or show your Aggie spirit, or do both. However you choose to make it your own, you’ll have a family portrait you will cherish for a lifetime.

Every finished portrait is individually edited and professionally retouched by Mark, by hand, to create a polished, natural result unmatched by any filter.
The goal is never to make someone look artificial. It is to refine the small details that can distract from an otherwise beautiful portrait, while preserving a natural appearance.
Retouching is also very personal. Some clients prefer a natural look, while others desire a more magazine cover appearance. Mark asks each client about their preferences so the level of retouching can be tailored to the way they want their finished portraits to look.
Professional retouching should never call attention to itself. It should simply make you look like you on your very best hair and makeup day.

The Premium Legacy Collection includes up to two hours of photography, a custom archival 8x10 heirloom album with 36 professionally edited and retouched portraits, and the digital license to the images in your album in both printable high resolution and social media formats.
The experience is designed to be simple, complete, and personal, with everything needed to create and preserve your Aggie portraits included from the beginning. The all inclusive price is $1,600, (a $2,700 value).
For those looking for something shorter, the Aggie Express Session offers a focused one hour experience at one location on campus, with twenty fully edited and professionally retouched images.

Do you retouch the portraits?
Absolutely. Every finished portrait is individually edited and professionally retouched by Mark, by hand. Retouching is tailored to your preference, from a natural look to a more magazine cover appearance.
Can I wear more than one outfit?
Of course. Variety is encouraged. Bring several options, from dressy to casual, along with different shoes, jackets, hats, Aggie gear, or anything else that reflects your personality. Mark can help you decide what photographs best and when to make a change.
Can I bring my dog?
Absolutely. Dogs are always welcome and can be a wonderful part of your Aggie portraits.
Are digital files included?
Yes. The images included in your album are also provided as printable high resolution files and files optimized for social media.
Can you make adjustments to the way I look?
Yes. Retouching can include subtle adjustments to the face, arms, waist, clothing, hair, and other areas when requested. Mark asks about your preferences so your finished portraits reflect how you want to look.
Can you remove wrinkles or distractions?
Yes. Clothing wrinkles can be softened, and distracting elements such as people, signs, trash cans, or other unwanted objects can often be removed from the background.
How far in advance should I schedule?
Scheduling several weeks in advance gives us the greatest flexibility, especially if weather requires us to move your session. That said, we can often find availability with about two weeks notice, so it is still worth reaching out even when graduation is getting close.
What happens if the weather does not cooperate?
Texas weather does not always follow our plans. If conditions are not right for creating beautiful portraits, we will work with you to find another time. Building some flexibility into the schedule is one reason we recommend not waiting until the last minute.
